To achieve the highest MYP level (5-6) for each Science criteron, you need to make sure you attempt the following to the best of your ability.

Criterion B: Communication in Science
  • Use correct scientific language in your wiki page AND in your discussion communication with your partner.
  • Produce a bibliography using APA format.
  • Use in-text referencing for quotes and for any pictures or media you embed in your page.
  • Link your wiki page to at least one other page on the navigation bar.

Criterion F: Attitudes in Science
  • Work independently of your teacher. Most of this exercise is homework for the next two weeks.
  • Meet the deadlines set.
  • Show good use of the discussion page to negotiate content and style for your page with your partner.
  • Use formal language in your discussion. Remember, this is an exercise in use of CMC, not just a method for information dissemination.
